HR Workshops on Workday
The AI for All Initiative provides official UCF training in the form of HR-affiliated online (synchronous) workshops that appear in your list of official training sessions on Workday. Here are the details for the Workday workshop:
Title: Supercharge Your Day Job with Artificial Intelligence
Many of us have tried Generative AI (GenAI) tools like ChatGPT before, but what about using it in your day job at UCF? Where are the areas where GenAI can make us faster, more productive, and free up time for creativity, deeper thinking, and meaningful work? We’ll briefly review what GenAI is and how it works, then address its advantages and weaknesses. We will also touch on effective prompt engineering for greater productivity.
Outcomes: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explain how large language models of AI work, including their strengths and limitations
- Log in to the only safe AI at UCF (Copilot)
- Apply basic prompt engineering techniques
- Differentiate when to use AI (and when not to)
- Apply AI tools to make their everyday jobs faster, easier, better
- Explain how “co-creating” with AI works, and which tasks are better left to humans
